Full speed pug

It's a bittersweet morning. We are selling the scooter Steven bought me for my birthday. I think that was 7 years ago. I love it but seeing as how it's unwise to stuff a baby in the basket, we decided to sell it to a friend who I know will take good care of it.

Steven took it out for one last ride this morning when the street was quiet and Shelby ran after him full speed right into the street leaving us screaming NO NO NO COME BACK! Steven came right back and we put her in the house.

Out for a walk

Steven discovered a path behind our yard and today we walked it as a family. Afterwards, we grabbed a lemonade and ice tea. Vin drank half and spilled half. Yesterday he spilled a cup on milk and and prior to that he spilled a full glass of lemonade. (Kid's got a bit of a drinking problem.)

Time flies...

...when you're chasing a kid and a pug around while carrying a baby. Shelby continues to adapt to another kid like a champ. Though I cannot imagine why since she gets considerably less lap time as a result. Every time I see her around kids I am reminded of what a good dog she is.

And every time I trim her nails I am reminded of what an awfully squirmy dog she is. With two kids now and a full time job I've fully embraced services. We now have a cleaning service and I have the groomers bathe Shelby. It makes these busy times just a bit more manageable.

Reuse?

Who uses packing peanuts anymore? We got a package that was full if them. Not sure what to do with them except toss it.

I stuffed them all in a garbage bag to see it Shelby would adopt it as an uncomfortable outdoor dog bed, but so far she's not buying it.

Reuse?

Just sittin' around the house

Yeah, I guess I'd have that look on my face too if I had such a bullseye view of a pug butt.
