That new car smell
After a month of test driving small hatchbacks, Steven and I decided to buy a Golf TDI. Shelby gave it a good sniffing, mostly in the backside. What a very dog-like welcome for our new car.

Happy 2012

Happy Christmaween?
Vin could not bear to cut up the pumpkin that my mom's neighbor grew for him on Halloween. The one in our pictures were from the pumpkin patch.
On Thanksgiving I asked him if he wanted to make it into a pie or soup. He said he wanted to keep it.
Well it seems like he was finally ready to do something with the pumpkin so here's our first ever Christmas jack o lantern. All the sweet talking in the world did not convince him to let me carve it in the shape of Jack Skellington, so we settled on a Santa snowman. (Oops, no carrot in the house)
Shelby is probably confused, but it smells like food so it's probably a good idea by her standards.
