The Democratic National Convention is upon us, and Steven and I are feeling politically inspired. Even Shelby got a little taste of America... by chewing this flag. Mmmmm. Democracy tastes good.

It's a real treat to read your Blog. That picture of Shelby with the flag pulls at my patriotic heart strings! She's all american...(I think!?) I had to take a second look at the popcicle picture. I thought something happened to her tongue!

Pugs are originally from China. I think the wrinkles on their forehead were supposed to look like the Chinese character for "fortune." While her origins are in China, Shelby is all-American, born and raised :)
