Her chicken

Shelby has a deep love of the cooking process. Mostly because this is the best time to beg for scraps. We rarely give her anything from the table, but she does get a healthy scrap or two while we are preparing food. Here she is waiting for what she hopes is "her chicken patty." Not so, little pug. Not so.

I know I have said this before, but your pug is just so adorable! I know you use a Canon D60 for your backyard blog, is that what you use for all the shots of Shelby on her site?

Hey sorry about that. I was getting my pug sites mixed. Shelby is adorable, what kind of camera do you use for her? Another pug owner has a blog
and uses a Canon D60 but I dont think I am going to be able to buy that any time soon!

I've been using a Canon Powershot s50. But I have, in the past used my friend's HP Photosmart R707, a rather ancient Kodak DC4800, and the cameraphone on my Sony Ericsson cameraphone (T610). They all take a fine photo of Shelby, except for the cameraphone, which is pretty weak. The HP is cheaper, but the video feature frequently loses the details in Shelby's face.

We take the same approach with our pug, Ike. He acts like our own little Hoover, picking up whatever crumbs I wipe on to the floor. But we NEVER feed him from the table ... he begs, but no dice. Anyway, my wife and I were so inspired by your blog that we started our own pug-centered blog. We linked to you guys, as well.
