This leaf doesn't taste so good

Sometimes I leave the screen door to the balcony open so that Shelby can bask in the sun and listen to birds. We must have had some wind last night because there were a bunch of green leaves that had blown on the balcony, and Shelby decided to try one. Not good. The leaf didn't agree with her. Before I knew it, there was a little patch of yellow pug barf on her bed, which dripped to the carpet.

Well, better out than in. The little green part is the leaf.

Not another star suffering from bulemia! J/K. I think they have an inner mechanism that purges all the "bad" stuff out. Little Shelby knows what's good and not good for her. What a good puppy.

Our pug Buffy did that just the other day on her pillow in her crate. She eats leaves in the back yard all the time. Tumbleweeds are her favorite to chew on. Once in a while she gets something that doesnt like here and *bleh* back it comes!

I love your site and Shelby! I check it every day during breakfast for updates - to start my day off awesome! Keep it coming. My pug Chewbacca (I call him Chewie) looks just like Shelby. I send pics from this site to my mom and she thinks it is Chewie! I linked to you on my website even though mine has nothing to do with pugs - because I love your site so much, and I know my friends would enjoy your humor and the pics. Thanks!

Poor little Shelby has had a "bitter" experience...she's waiting for her
humans to give her something to settle that
nasty after-taste in her mouth! She's not
a happy camper right now. We love you!

I am very glad you find joy in your little love....
it is amazing to me that we as americans seem to have so much time on our hands that we are able to induldge ourselves in this way. we are very lucky and spolied in our culture. we don't really worry about food and shelter for the most part.......
perhaps a small suggestion: Shelby looks like the kind of dog that would do well as a elder home visitor or a childrens ward visitor. It would be nice to putt all your fantastic energy with Shelby to excellent use.
