The brussel sprout video

I took this little video when I thought that no one would believe me that Shelby likes brussel sprouts. But it seems that everyone believes it because pugs eat just about anything. Well, even though Shelby pug fans are sweet enough to believe it, I present video proof anyway.

Thank you for the video!! It was very sweet and Shelby reminds me so much of our girl Kricket!! She loves veggies too, but they MUST be cooked!!
Give Shelby a kiss for us. She is very sweet. Have a great week

Hi! Just wanted to thank you and Shelby for a great web site. I have been planning to get a dog for two years now and finally two weeks ago I got a little baby pug who was named Aulis. Your site was a great help in getting to know the breed and "nature" of pugs. I didn't know very much about the breed at first (luckily my boyfriend had a pug when he was younger.)but reading your posts and waching at videos of Shelby I was able to get a closer look at a life of a pug and its owners before getting my own dog. Thanks!!!

Greetings from:
Sara and Aulis, Finland

Dude, Chewie even eats raw onions that fall on the floor. Pugs would try to eat rocks if you gave rocks to them. :)

That is SO funny! I thought Bunkin was the only pug that ate brussel sprouts! She loves them! Bunk loves anything that we eat except GREEN OLIVES and MUSHROOMS-lol!
By the way, make sure Shelby doesnt get any of the following as they are toxic to dogs!

Chocolate
Onions
Grapes
Raisins
Macadamia nuts

I know theres more, but I can only remember these main ones!

I just wanted to alert shelby fans that I've added a reference to her on the Pugs page in Wikipedia. She really deserves her own entry, but here's what we have for now (bottom of the list of famous pugs):

Speaking of pugs eating anything, my two love craisins. I asked my vet about them and he couldn't give me an answer, has anyone heard if they are okay for dogs?? I know dogs should not have grapes or raisins but are cranberries ok?? They are the sweetened Oceanspray Craisins.

as far as i know cranberries are okay. zooey ate a couple of dried cranberries the other day that i dropped accidentally, but she seems fine. i wouldn't quote me on that... but i haven't read anywhere that cranberries are toxic to dogs, so i assume that stands.

Eagle my five month old pug eats Brussel Sprouts as well! They are my favorite veggie, so he gets a treat of them quite often!

We both love Shelby's adventures! Keep it up!!

Lots of high quality commercial dog foods have dried cranberies in them. I googled and found lots.

My two aussies love them :)
