Mom's Dog Sitting Service

My parent's have alwawys been very good to Shelby. Perhaps a bit too good. We thought maybe Shelby would've forgotten all about us by the time we came home. It was 7 days, making it the longest time that Shelby's ever been away. We called mom to let her know that we were coming. Mom told Shelby "Winnie's home" and Shelby clearly remembered us. She went absolutely nuts, bakred her head off, and went to wait by the door.

When Shelby stays with mom, she has a very regular schedule.

First, there's breakfast.

Then a morning walk.
Prep for a walk

Followed by a nap.

Then playtime.

Followed by another walk, and dinner.

And then, bedtime.

i love the way pugs look when they're asleep. of course, i love the way they look ALL the time, but they just have the cutest little expressions and sleeping positions, and they are so cozy and content, with all the air gone out of their faces.

*squeal* I love Shelby! She's so adorable. I was hunting the web for dog shirt patterns and the blog entry where you talk about making one for her came up in my search.

What a great blog. What a cute dog!

It looks like shelby had a great time with
your parents. I always like when pugs are blissfully sleeping. That is the only time my pug is not getting into trouble.(hehe)

Hey shelby.. winnie's home!

Dogs don't forget their human pals, even after years apart. I had to leave home for 6 months once and my dogs went berserk when I returned.

My pug, Bridget, gets so excited when my husband comes home from a business trip that she can't contain her excitement in her body...and it comes out of her back end! Does anyone else have problems with pug incontinence only during times of extreme excitement? (This also happens on occasion when people come to visit...luckily we have hardwood floors, it's not as easy to clean when it happens on the couch!)
