The Stick

Shelby has been trying for days to sneak this stick from the backyard into the house. I didn't realize this, and when I brought her back inside from her brushing, she snuck it in with her. What ensued was a game of chase around the house, trying to get the stick from her so she wouldn't make a mess. But Shelby is very wiley. We had to wait till she got tired, to sneak up on her.

Yahtzee is the same way- she loves sticks. However, the bigger the stick the better, and she especially loves them with small branches and leaves still attached.
Good job rescuing the stick!

Good try Shelby..you were winning for a while!! What is it with sticks, stones, pines cones...Teddy is in heaven when he finds a used (yuk) piece of gum to chew when we are out on our walk!!!

Our pug Monday is fascinated with anything that feels like she's "stealing"! She'll pick up a pine cone when we are out on a walk and happily carry it home with her!

Muffie had an obsession with balls. We would, or should I say her nose would always find at least one when we were out for walks.
