More about the Pet Food Recall

My friend and former co-worker has been diligently updating people on the pet food recall on her LiveJournal blog. If this news is making your head spin, I'd highly recommend checking out her journal because she's really up to date on the news. Today she's posted additional recalled foods. It's pretty scary that the list keeps getting longer and longer. I'm hoping this results in some reform around pet food manufacturing and standards.

If you check her site out, please leave her a comment. It's always nice to know that others are listening. :)

Till then, thanks Janine, and keep up the good work.

Good thing Muggins eats Solid Gold, though he may switch to Flint River Ranch. It's supposed to be easier to digest, which should tone down his farts.

He has a new blog!

Guess I'll continue buying homemade food from a nice little neighbourhood store. Sounds like the way to go anyway...obviously food manufacturers are more concerned with profits than the health of our pets....Mad Cow desease was started the very same way...feeding farm animals ground up animal parts as filler and no doubt a bunch of other disgusting things in the name of cutting corners and profit...and why is North America importing wheat...do our own farmers not grow it?? oh ya I forgot foreign is cheaper..right???Thanks for the continued info Winnie, much appreciated...
