Shelby and Bear
My friend Penny just adopted a pup from the SPCA. We think he's a terrier daschund mix. Bear came over to to meet Shelby for the first time today.
They got along quite well, though there was the occasional humping attempt. Sometimes the rough housing got a bit too noisy or too rough, and they needed a "time-out". Check out the video of them playing together. This went on for hours! And at one point when we went outside, bear found a way to get under the deck and escape the house. Is it any wonder why Penny and I were exhausted after the visit?!

I love that...pugs are alot speedier than most people would think...Shelby was running circles around that guy.

They look like they're having a wonderful time together.
I didn't realize that pugs could be so athletic either. Mine came to me as an old man, who grumbles if one of the kitties interrupts his naps.
If Bear visits often, I think Winnie will soon need a new rug.

Shelby has a new friend. And the most important thing is the new pet has a pet friendly house to visit.
My friends love bringing their dogs to my house. They tell me my house is dog proof.
One of Shelby's many fans,

Pugs are super fast. Chia runs circles in the yard, and I call it barrel racing. haha
