A Shelby health update

Thanks for all the kind words and support. Shelby's taking a little Benedryl and Steven reports that although he is $40 poorer, Shelby is feeling much better.

I should also apologize for the worrisome photo. I was so mad at the time it didn't really occur to me that Shelby looks near-death in this photo. Oops. I didn't mean to worry you all so much.

In reality, she felt healthy enough to run around the house barking at people who walk by, though the barking would be followed by snorting fits where she tries to clear the snot out of her nose. Oh and the snoring...the ceaseless snoring...we won't miss that either.

Hope you can locate a highly recommended Veterinarian that can clean Puggy Teeth
without the use of heavy sedatives or high doses of anesthesia. Shelby is a precious member of your family and she depends on you to make the right choices for her.
We think you are a great mommy.

That is GOOD news.
Now about the snoring. Our two English Bulldogs could snore!! It eventually became like a lullaby to us . LOL. We miss it and of course them.

One of Shelbys many fans,

I'm glad Shelby is feeling better. About the vet, how irritating! Don't they know who they are messing with?!

Is Shelby ready for Halloween this year? I always look forward to seeing her in costume. You are so creative. I submitted my Lucy's picture to the H Doodle Calendar contest. She is wearing her awesome Flying Monkey from Oz Costume. Maybe they will choose it and you will get to check it out. I have been unable to top that one!

Hi Shelby! I used to have a pug when I was really little and she slept under the covers with me. And in the morning she would bite my toes to wake me up to let her out.

Your are very sweet Miss Shelby!
