Pug in the jungle
I was in the atrium, doing a little light gardening / weeding. Shelby tried helping by tearing into some roots from a dead plant I was digging up. I wasn't sure if it was good for her to chew it. This is what I get for not paying attention in botany class. Later on, she found a sunny spot (thankfully away from any surge protectors) and settled into the dirt to relax.

What a lucky pug you are Shelby to have a beautiful place like the atrium to sun yourself right at home. Enjoy!!

Dear Winnie, your new home looks inviting to Baby Yet to Come and for Shelby.
Will you keep Shelby in your master bedroom so she can still be close to you? I like your Garden/Atrium!

Yes, Shelby's bed is in our masterbedroom, and she's going to stay there. :)

Shelby is good practice for the baby. They get into things that we would not even think of (much like a baby). Thank goodness the atrium has sunlight. Now Shelby has a quiet place to sun herself... Take care of yourself and please don't over do it.

Why do pugs like to sun themselves? I always thot the sun was too hot for their flat noses. Anyone knows?

She looks very content. My puggies - especially Pearl - love the sun.

I love your atrium! It must be so nice to have a place for Shelby to play/nap that's got plants, etc. and is totally secure.
