Itsy Bitsy Lizard

I found a lizard in the hallway, headed straight for our bedroom. I think they're kinda cute, but I don't want to wake to one of them in the bed. My mom handed me a glass container to catch him. Lizard Shelby was fascinated. The quick jittery movements of a tiny lizard is just the sort of thing that gets pugs interested. And by "interested" I mean, she wants to paw at it, then eat it. Never fear, we set the lizard free in the back yard, safe from Shelby's ...ahem...intentions.

Yeah, Trix does that too. Where we live, there are a lot of those little guys. Fun times for Trix are when I let her free to lizard hunt. Thank heavens they are faster than her. Or at least, more wiley.

Does Shelby ever sleep? It seems like she is on guard duty 24/7. Good thing you put the glass over the lizard or she would have been forced to eat it had she caught it.. She's a good protector of Vin and your family.....

Hmm..lizards...When was the last time
I saw one up close and personal.
(On vacation)

They are quick on their tiny toes
plus, those little reptiles make my heart
beat fast, when I get startled by
their presence when I see how close
they actually can get to you.

Don't get me wrong, I love animals,
lizards are not my favorite.

Dear Winnie, any chance that you will have the time and strength to create another
Halloween costume for Shelby? We loved the Yoda, Poochador and Teen Wolf outfits you designed for our favorite Pug! We know you are busy with Baby Son, the adorable Vin.
Perhaps Matching Outfits for both little ones? Keep the photos coming! Thanks.

My pug actually chewed a lizard to pieces and spat out. Terribly gross.

I was just thinking about Shelby's fabulous costumes going through all my Halloween pics and putting them in my screen saver.

I hope you have a little time to make 2 costumes. You know, a Vin and Shelby duo costume.

Big hugs to you and the little guy. And Shelby of course.
