Everybody in the pool!
And by "everyone" I mean "Vin." After all, there's only 2 inches of water. It's 90 degrees today, a perfect time to break in the kiddie pool we bought for 7 bucks. I tossed in a few bath time toys and a naked boy who immediately started laughing and splashing around.
Shelby's a bit more shy about water and watched from the pool's edge. Here she is, gazing at "the moon."
Come on in dada, the water's fine!
And so Steven soaked his feet in the pool while sipping a beer. He set it down for a moment, and found Shelby licking the bottle.
In fact, here's Shelby licking spilled beer off the concrete. Well she's 5, which is 35 or so in dog years. I guess that's old enough to have spilled beer. (Gopugyourself.com does not condone underage drinking for doggies, however, licking concrete is perfectly fine.)

What a nice little pool! I'm guessing that Shelby isn't big on baths. Looks like she's a bit concerned for her little brother. Maybe Vin's joy will encourage Shelby to test the waters one day herself.

WHOA BabyButt!! Love it! Keep the fun shots coming! Does Shelby like sitting in the pool when it's hot? Our puggies love beer too, just a little to tickle their tongues! Now our Lab....she will knock over a beer just to lap up what gets spilled! She's a terrible lush!
And just a little info, we're still in the 60's in Northeast Ohio...enjoy those warm temps, you could be here!

i have a three foot, above the ground pool for my puggies to swim in...of course they all wear life jackets. they were a bit hesitant at first, but now they love it. of course, mummy gets in with them, that's a sight for sore eyes. our holistic vet says that swimming is really excellent conditioning for all dogs, and they really do love it. have a treadmill for them when the weather gets cold. vin and shelby are adorable as usual, thanks for sharing their lives with us.

What is a typical day of household chores like for you with pug and baby? Like before and after work, what do you need to do?

Hmm. Interesting question.
We're lucky in that we have my mom here to help us out. Also, Steven works from home, so he has some flexibility in his schedule. But I think maybe this is a good topic for a blog post, so stay tuned.

Yes Winnie, I am looking forward to reading all about the practical side of having a pug and baby. Cos here in Asia, we all have maids. But I am wondering how you guys in the west cope with all those chores on top of your regular work hours,in a house that big. Also, with pug and baby... it must be a handful.. cos I'm struggling. You must feel really tired all the time.
