On our way to the party
Shelby pug survived her rather unwise consumption with the olive oil / earwig trap. She had no complaints that day, but the following days, there were some instances of yellow barf around the house. Shelby, who usually tries to be respectful of communal areas, mostly barfed in her own bed or crate. Those were the days that I was glad to keep a bottle of Natures Miracle around the house. She's all better now, and I hope she is a little wiser for the experience, but somehow, I doubt it.
Onto this week's adventures.
Vin's cousin turned 1 this weekend, and we all headed down to Central Park in Fremont to celebrate. Vin got to play on the swings. Shelby got a lot of pets and scratches from dog loving park goers. There was hot dogs, spaghetti, pizza, and cake. And I think Shelby got to try a little of everything, but mostly hot dogs.
You would think that these two would be pumped on the drive down but, it was a hot summer day and...
Vin too, is very sleepy.
Geez, I want to take a nap just looking at these two.

Did you notice any changes to Shelby's coat re: the olive oil consumption? I've been thinking of giving my puggers a teaspoon a day to soften it (a neighbor pug has the softest coat because of that). The amount Shelby consumed was probably counter productive though! Love the sleepy pics.

Vin is so adorable! Of course, Shelby is just plain beautiful! Glad Shelby is fine after her little olive oil experience. Pugs are so wonderful!

Yeah, I didn't notice any change to her coat, but that may have been because I was distracted by the barfing. Even if the oil doesn't help the coat, pugs sure do seem to like the extra flavor in their kibble.

And Amen to constantly having Natures Miracle around the house! But before you get rid of odors...this Woolite pet stain remover - works FAB for stains.

I have posted before that I give my dogs olive oil in their kibble! I give them (I have 2 pugs and 1 Lab) about 6 cups of kibble in their bowl with about 1 Tablespoon of oil in it then mix it around. I do this 3 times a week. They all have nice shiny coats and it even helps with the dry skin itchies!! None of them have the barfs from it either!
