Nature busts through our house

Well the pictures pretty much tell the story. I'd noticed that the carpet was buckling in that corner, but I just assumed it was just due to wear and tear, or age, or maybe poor installation. Steven stepped on it, and was surprised to find that the carpet didn't give. As it turns out an ambitious palm growing on the other side of the window had worked its way under the window and started growing under the carpet.

Geez, seriously?

...WOW...that's wierd....if you wanted it to grow there , it NEVER would....like plants growing through cement and asphalt !!! A will of their own for sure !! LOL
