The SPCA

This is the Surgery Center at our local SPCA. Steven and I visited ahead of time and asked all sorts of questions. They were very caring, and the facility looked great. They are very experienced in spay surgery. They have done short nosed, small dogs. And they are a non-profit. Steven and I made an appointment for Shelby's spay surgery and microchipping. As a younger pup, Shelby had her dew claw removed, however on one paw, the claw grew back, aggressively curving and digging into her leg, making it very difficult to clip the nail without clipping Shelby. We opted to have that removed as well. It will cause her less pain in the future.
