Winnie, okay this is bad I am seeing that I will be a posting pest...so sorry in advance.

Loki loves water...and Kristine (O'Berry) Webb has a water loving Chocolate Lab and he of course loves swim. So Kristine was asking if Loki would swim. When we had Sydney she liked it but well the Puggy form as you know is not conducive to fullfilling their swimmy desires.

So to the ever so late point...where did you get that flotation vest? And I assume Shelby loves to get in the water now?

We're not really sure if she likes the water. She is comfortable in the water, but she doesn't ever jump in. We'll try again this summer and see how she does.

I bought the vest on eBay, but it's available at PetSmart as well.

Hi I just found your blog, your pug is wonderful, i was wondering about the swimming we recently bought our pug a swimming vest like yours and put him in the pool, he swam around but tried to get out every chance he got. LIke yours he looks like he wants to get back in but wont jump and then doesnt look too happy when i grab him to bring him in with me. Is your dog happy in the water, did it take long to get her used to it?? any comments are appreciated

Shelby likes being near us, but I'm still not sure if she likes swimming. She does seem to "play tag" in the ppol where she swims from one person to the other, and she's clearly not scared. But with that worried little pug face, it's still sometimes hard to tell if she's having a good time.

i have a pug, Dexter, and he loves to swim at the beach but scared of the swimming pool. but Dexter doesn't use a vest, he can swim perfectly fine without one, he even swims with the waves!
