The anticipation

Shelby was too small to go down the stairs for the first few weeks. She would run upstairs, get stuck and start barking. One day, while I was at work, Steven snapped these photos.

And there she goes! I was crushed that I wasn't around for this milestone in Shelby's life, but it was wonderful that Steven captured it with the camera.

Bringing her friends with her

He said that Shelby was very happy that she had made it down the stairs, and after successfully going down the stairs once, she did id again and again. Here she is bringing her squeaky bear with her.
