Blowing coat?
Shelby's fur isn't looking so great this week. I think she's blowing coat. We were playing, and she took a second to lick herself, and when she turned back around, I got this picture. Look at all the hair that clung her face!

I have 2 pugs that I love to pieces. My female had a litter 8 weeks ago and now the puppies are going to new homes. I am sooo sad about them going because I want to be sure they will be treated well. I was so happy to come across your web site and to see how much you love Shelby and how well she is treated. Now I feel better about our puppies going into new homes. I hope they all get parents as loving and wonderful as you guys! Shelby is a lucky pug!

What is "blowing coat"?

Blowing coat is when Shelby decides she's tired of being furry, and she going to shed most of her coat, and grow a new one.
It seems to happen about twice a year.
