Trading Spaces

The black mat was Mocha's, but she preferred Shelby's bed. Meanwhile, Shelby was fascinated with hers. Mocha's no fool! I think she got the cushier bed, even though it's a bit small for her. No problem. I brought out Shelby's old snuggleball, and both dogs had a comfortable night's sleep.

I'm still amazed to learn that there are dogs out there that don't insist on sleeping in their human's bed.

Our guys would be VERY happy to spend all nite sleeping with their people...but they are comfortable enough in their own little beds in the kitchen (especially in winter...they are warmer beside the woodstove than we are upstairs !!) Weekend snuggle Saturday mornings are for all piling into bed together,..makes it a special treat!!!

They're so cute together and Shelby is such a good sport sharing all her stuff.

They look so cute together. Glad to see that
Shelby doesn't mind swapping beds with Mocha.

Several months ago, I bought my pug Rocco a snuggle bed only to have him growl and sneer at it. I don't think he'll ever leave my bed.

It's nice that Shelby decided to share her things. I know that my dog would never have shared her things with another dog, especially a big dog (she was quite a small dog who had issues with larger dogs because she was attacked and everything, but it's a long story).
