Happy anniversary Shelby!
It was 3 years ago today that we brought Shelby home. Here's a photo of her sleeping in my lap on the way home. What a cutie.
We celebrated by giving her some bits of leftover steak, and playing with the insufferably noisy Mister Duck (one of Shelby's favorite toys). The first night she came home with us, Steven didn't want her to cry, so we put the dog bed on our bed, and she slept there all night. Sure enough, she didn't cry that night, nor any night she's spent as part of our family. We don't let her sleep in the bed that often, but on anniversary night, she's always welcome.
Happy anniversary Shelby! We're so glad you're part of the family now.

Happy anniversary to the three of you! Thank you so much for sharing Shelby with us over this time. She's one of the most adorable dogs ever, and she definitely gets the best Halloween costumes on earth!

Aww...baby Shelby must have weighed very
little and is adorable in her photo going home with you guys. Bet the past three years have flown by quicker than you thought and you have captured all the important moments thanks to your wonderful

I ended up with Mikah when we split as my ex was aware of her attachment to me (painfully so for we got Mikah to provide her with the incessant contact I was disinclined to offer) Mikah is my savior and joy. Seeing the pic of you cuddling Shelby as a pup is quite touching. I slept on the floor when we first got her so she wouldn't fall off the bed. Now she's there every night keeping me warm and grounded.

I am so glad our Shelby has such good parents . You love her and take such good care of her. You can afford to take good care of her too. I think sometimes people don't consider the expense of a pet. I have had 2 English Bullies (sadly in doggie heaven now)and I KNOW vet bills. I am a pet groomer so people will come to me for advice about a new pet. I remind them of flea treatment,heartworm preventive , food , boarding fees, yearly at vet plus any other visits to the vet.
I have a pit mix now and have only had 2 extra visits to the vet in 6 years so FAR.
So I understand your worry when our Shelby isn't her usual self and what it takes out of your checking account too.
So from Shelby "thank you for 3 years of the best care ever Mom and Dad".
