A skeptical breakfast
After coming home from mom's, where Shelby was gloriously spoiled and overfed, she returned home to us. In her absence we overlooked that we had run out of her kibble. She ate the last of it at mom's, and the pet store was closed. I scraped together some carrots and cheerios for breakfast.
She hasn't even seen what I've put in the bowl, and her face already look skeptical.
She ate it. With gusto, I might add.

We used to use grapenuts when the dogs ran out of kibbles. They thought they were getting the best treat in the world.

Great idea, cheerios, carrots, grapenuts. We would scramble some eggs usually. I'll try the cereal as Maya sometimes has a problem with eggs.

She looked skeptical probably because she could feel your worries and uncertainty.

That's not a combination that sparks my taste buds, but I guess it's something different. Where's the bananas?

My kids love puffed rice with green beans...go figure. It's a scream to watch them chase the rice all over the kitchen. Each to their own, I guess!
