New camera

I was playing around with my new camera, and wanted to test how closeup I could take a photo of Shelby. This is Shelby in her sassy bow fresh after a bath.

Hmm. That's pretty good. But maybe we can get even closer.

That's even better! I like this camera. Good job posing Shelby. Let's go get you a biscuit for your nice modelling efforts.

With a cutie face like that, Shelby can get as many goodies as she wants, huh Mom?

IS Shelby greying at the chin?

On a friend's recommendation, I bought the Canon Powershot SD750. It's a compact little point and shoot. It replaces my PowerShot S50 which has served me well for many years. Canon's have always played well with my Mac, so I like them. My only complaint so far is that the flash gives Shelby blue eye quite often.

And yes, Shelby's growing a little white fur on her chin. I tease her that it's how we can tell she's getting wise, but I don't think she gets the joke.

I still can't believe how Shelby looks EXACTLY like our Daisey May, except for the one wrinkle that Shelby has in the middle of her forhead wrinkles. It truely is uncanny!! Did you get her from a local breeder there in California, or perhaps over the internet from a breeder in Ohio? Daisey is from a breeder in Concord,OH. Maybe they're related?! How could they both be so beautiful and not be related!! DaiseyMay isn't as comfortable in front of the camera though, she always looks like we're really bothering her!!

Shelby came from Redding CA, however I think her mama was named Daisey, and hence her first name, given to her by the breeder's daughters was also Daisey. quite the conincidence!

Shelby is gorgeous! And what a good puggie to sit still for the camera. My Napoleon does, but Rukia moves just to defy me, I think. I must break her of that willfull streak!!
